Selecting the Correct Size Most of our garments are sold as separates allowing you to better fit the various body types of different breeds of dogs. Often a dog will wear different sizes within our line of clothes. The following is a guide we find helpful in choosing the best size for your dogs. T-shirts and Tanks Please use the chest measurement for the most accurate measurement when purchasing our tees. If your dog is on the high end of a size, please go up to the next size especially if their total body length is measuring at the next size. For example a dog with a chest measurement of 19” and a total body length of 13“ will need to order a size L rather than a size M.

Our t-shirts are made of a soft cotton jersey and designed for a loose fit. Our tanks are made of a baby rib knit and designed for a tighter fit. If your dog has a lot of hair, you may want to order the next size larger. Often dogs will wear two different sizes of tees depending on their hair cut.

The length of our t-shirts and tanks are approximately 3/4 of the total length of your dog (measured from the collar to the base of the tail). For example, size S will fit most dogs with a body length of 10” but the length of the tee will be 7”-8”. All t-shirts and tanks are cut shorter in the front to help in preventing accidents with male dogs. Denim Vests Please use the chest measurement when ordering our vest. Our Escape Proof Vests are sized in the middle of each size on our size chart. For example, the Size S Vest is exactly 16” in the chest. If your dog measures at the high end of a size, please go up to the next size. Dresses Please use the total length of your dog when ordering our dresses. Most of our dresses are adjustable in the chest and waist so it is often more important to have the correct length. If your dog’s Length size is more than two Chest sizes different, please select the size in between. For example, a dog with a chest measurement of 11” (XXS) and a length measurement of 10” (S) would need to order a size XS. Skirts Please use the waist measurement when ordering our skirts. The skirts need to fit tight so do not go up a size when ordering our skirts. Skirts all have Velcro closures and will adjust larger than the size on the chart but will not adjust smaller. For example, if your dog measures 14” in the waist (Size S) but you think she will need it to fit at 13.5” to keep it from slipping, please order the Size XS.
